Carmen Fowler LaBerge, president of the Presbyterian Lay Committee will be the host of a conference call today at 2 p.m. (EST).
“As we transition from print to other media, I’m looking forward to talking each month with folks across the country about issues of immediate interest,” said LaBerge. “So join me today for the first of these conversations.”
Discussion topics for the “Conversation with Carmen” will include:
- ‘How I’d vote if I could vote’ on the amendments currently before the PCUSA presbyteries
- The complaint filed against the PCUSA with the IRS regarding the denomination’s political anti-Israel advocacy
