First Presbyterian Church in Quincy, Ill.; Rodney J. Bakker and Kevin McGinnis, pastors. Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church in Glenmoore, Pa.; Andy Curtis, pastor. Great Valley Presbyterian Church in Malvern, Pa.; Dan Stewart, pastor. Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church in Parkesburg, Pa.; Bill Kelly, pastor. Hope Presbyterian Church in Rogue River, Ore.; Brian Boisen, pastor; pending their dismissal from the Presbyterian Church (USA). Sean Martin has been received as a minister member of the presbytery. He will be laboring outside the bounds at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Simsbury, Conn. As of Aug. 21, according to the Office of the General Assembly, Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church in Madison, Miss., and its pastor, Steve Bryant, have been received into the EPC Transitional Presbytery. On June 22, meeting in Highlands Ranch, Colo., commissioners to the 27th General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church overwhelmingly approved a plan to create non-geographic, transitional presbyteries to receive congregations seeking to join the denomination. Nearly 1,000 commissioners in the worship center at Cherry Hills Community Church for the June 20-23 General Assembly approved by voice vote and without amendment the following: "Structure for Receiving Churches and Pastors Transitionally."
