While Boy Scouts in Presbyterian congregations are under attack by the Presbyterian Church (USA) staff because of the national policy against homosexual troop leaders, a Scout leader and a prestigious congregation in Manhattan face a $50-million lawsuit because of the leader's alleged homosexual advances on a Boy Scout.

The New York Daily News reported recently that the allegations target scoutmaster Jerrold Schwartz, who has led Troop 666 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church for two decades, and the Upper Manhattan congregation.
