James Mead, minister of University Place Presbyterian Church in
Tacoma Washington and vice moderator of the General Assembly, has
accepted a call from Pittsburgh Presbytery to become its executive
presbyter. Mead is notifying his congregation today. He will begin his
work with Pittsburgh Presbytery on Nov. 1. The meeting of Pittsburgh
Presbytery, which extended the call to Mead, occurred Sept. 16. |
