The Right Choice

These pro-life sermons and talks from a truly ecumenical group of Christians, many of them leaders of their own denomination’s pro-life efforts, will convict and encourage clergy and laypeople. The 14 contributors from five Protestant denominations and the Roman Catholic Church bring passion and urgency to the issue of abortion. Presbyterians Elizabeth Achtemeier, Terry Schlossberg and Benjamin Sheldon join Richard John Neuhaus, John Cardinal O’Connor, and Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Mother Teresa told a National Prayer Breakfast in 1994, “I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. … Please don’t kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted … .” (KES)
