Esther Berg named NPWL coordinator The Presbyterian Layman Sept/Oct, 1997 (PLC) The Network of Presbyterian Women in Leadership (NPWL) has named Rev. Esther Berg its national coordinator. The purpose of NPWL is to foster personal, spiritual and professional support among Christ-centered and ministry-focused clergy women and lay leaders in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Berg is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1988) and is currently pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Otis, Colo. She has also served as an associate pastor, pursued advanced training in pastoral counseling, and worked on presbytery committees.
