The Rev. Billy Graham will mark his 95th birthday tonight by delivering a powerful new message called “The Cross” as part of a nationwide evangelistic outreach. It will air on the Fox News Channel at 10 p.m. Eastern, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) at 8 p.m. Eastern, and other national and local networks.
Graham penned a letter on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) web site earlier this week indicating that this address may be his last to the nation, encouraging people to watch the program with loved ones, friends or co-workers who need to know Jesus Christ. The program weaves Graham’s message around the stories of people whose lives have been transformed by the Gospel.
“I believe this is the most compelling program my father has ever done, and I urge you to invite your unsaved friends, family and neighbors into your homes to watch it together. This is an incredibly effective and easy way to reach those who need to know the Lord Jesus Christ!” wrote Graham’s son, the Rev. Franklin Graham, who is president and CEO of the BGEA. “Please join me in praying that God will use this extraordinary television event to bring multitudes to salvation through Christ.”
